About Vintage World Rugby

Vintage World Rugby emerged during the Covid lockdowns in New Zealand back in 2020 filling in time on the quest for two specific rugby jerseys: the 1995 Southland jersey and the 1999 Otago Highlanders temex jersey. 

As our passion for vintage rugby jerseys ignited, we uncovered memorable pieces from across the globe.

In early 2021, the @vintageworldrugby Instagram page came to life. Within just a couple of years, our community has flourished, amassing over 14,000 followers and the sale of more than 1,000 jerseys worldwide. Now, in March 2024, we’ve transitioned from Instagram to this dedicated website. Our mission remains unwavering: to continue growing and rekindling the passion of rugby fans through iconic jerseys spanning the globe.
